Workshop: Corn Husk Dolls

Learn to make and decorate your own corn husk dolls. Fun for the whole family. The history of corn husk dolls will be discussed. All materials provided.

All workshops benefit the East Fishkill Historical Society, and will be held outdoors. In case of inclement weather, they will be held in our one room schoolhouse.

Annual Strawberry Festival (2021)

The East Fishkill Historical Society Annual Strawberry Festival will be held in a safe manner this year with socially distant living history demonstrations and, of course, Strawberry Shortcake!

This event is free and open to the community, however, due to town, county and state COVID-19 regulations, we are asking only those who pre-registered using the RSVP system may attend. Masks must be worn at all times while on the grounds and practice safe social distancing.

Join East Fishkill Historical Society Board member Jennifer Keeler-McMillan as she teaches you to construct your own usable Colonial broom. We will only be able to accommodate 6 people outdoors for this socially distanced workshop. Masks are required. $40 for instruction and materials. This is an in person, outdoor class. Proceeds to benefit the Brinckerhoff House Historic Site. Please pre-register.
